J.B. Hudson Jewelers relocated to the Historic Young Quinlan building at 901 Nicollet Mall after being in a tenant space in the downtown Macy's store where it resided for 78 years. Shea was brought on board to bring this historic store to this historic space and to assist with a complete store repositioning in light of a shifting demographic in J.B. Hudson's customer base.

With a focus on growth and engaging a new generation of customers, Shea worked with J.B. Hudson to reposition and refresh the entire brand. A new contemporary logo and color palette for the brand were carefully integrated into the design of the new space. Maintaining the historic structural elements found in the Young Quinlan building, modern cases and upscale modern designs were applied to a many areas of the new store. By allowing natural light to flood the formerly dark space and incorporating classic chandeliers from the Macy's location, Shea was able to interconnect the past with the present.  A new and prominent presence on Nicollet Mall gives the store great visibility to passing traffic, inviting pedestrians to view the beautiful merchandise and architecture.
